tearful mourners said their last goodbyes to Adam Sandells last week after the brave five year old
tragically lost his brave battle for life.
Little Adam died in his sleep in the early hours of july 23 more than 2 years after he was first
diagnosed with the aggressive child hood cancer Neuroblastoma.
His funeral was held at All Saints Church Newton Le Willows last friday afternoon july 31st
A spokesman for the family said Adam's family would like to thank everyone who has supported adam
throughout his illness.
Adam brought sunshine into every room and will now be a little star in the sky.
During his tragically short life, Adam of Newton Le Willows, under went numerous rounds of draining
chemotherapy and radiotherapy in a bid to beat the disease.
He was given the all clear last summer, but a lump appeared on his head in October and tests
revealed that the cancer had returned and spread to his shoulder thighs and spine.
his family rallied round and set out to raise £250,000 to take himto America for pioneering
treatment not currently available in the UK.
But the thousands of pounds already raised will now be donated to the Neuroblastoma Society to fund
research to help beat the disease which claimed little Adam's life
